Emmanuel Ocansey

I am Emmanuel Ocansey from Ghana in Africa. I’m 19 years of age and I live in a city called Tema. My fathers name is Joshua Ocansey and my mother is Janet Basemprah. I began my primary school at community 7 no2 primary and continued Junior Secondary school at Republic Road Basic School.

My hobbies in Primary School were Art and football. I like Art because my father was very good in that field. I was also very good in art so my father advice me to take it very serious, so I took it serious because I saw it was a great achievement from God.

When I entered into the junior secondary school, my aim was to be a great Artist in future, so I chose to do Visual Art when I entered into High School. By God’s grace I completed the Junior Secondary in 1997 and passed my exams successfully but due to financial problems I could not continued. I was not happy because I wanted to be an artist. Due to that factor I started learning how to paint and write portraits painting, landscape paintings, sign writings, writing and drawing on sign post, bill boards, banners etc. for two years and mastered in it so people started appreciating my work and I was very glad LAWESCO ART SERVICE is now my gallery but money is my problem. I love art and would always love it.
