Art. Perspective. Possibility.

Ayman El Hakea

Engineer, cartoonist, traveller, and regular follower of regional and international politics, and Arab-Islamic art and literature.

I've lived in Alexandria, Egypt, most of my life, where I studied for 13 years in a Catholic French School, before moving to Cairo to study at the American University, where I graduated in 2007.

I've participated in several art exhibitions and contests, illustrated children books, participated in animated film production, drew cartoons for newspapers, and participated in national and international youth events and programmes.

After spending sometime in Morocco, I returned to Egypt to work as a TA at my university, and then moved to London for 2 years, then finally settled in Egypt.
