Recebendo e continuando, a melhoria com criatividade na comunidade/ Improving The Community With Creativity

Sou Gustavo Mallete, tenho 13 anos de idade e como participante do programa AYV , conquistei minha melhora como descobridor nas novas mídias. Sempre gostei de edição e filmagem só não sabia como utilizar os programas e equipamentos que tive a chance de conhecer com o recurso de minha família, que me ajudou a ter meu computador e acesso a internet. Com o programa AYV nas oficinas, eu consegui juntar minhas praticas com uma ação construtiva. Fiz cartazes com meus colegas de turma e desenvolvemos campanhas de vários tipos e assuntos sociais importantes como a prevenção das doenças sexualmente  e gravideis na adolescência. Onde vivo tem um alto indice de gravides e HIV com crianças de 12 a 14 anos devido a pesquisa que realizamos durante a oficina AYV, nos postos de saúde.  Participei do tele jornal Sepetiba Em Foco que me deu a oportunidade de ser diretor de cena e roteirista. Depois do aprendizado, levei o projeto para minha escola e dividi as noticias com outros jovens e professores. Consegui fazer novos amigos e um trabalho interessante que foi espalhado pela comunidade em que vivo, como forma de mostrar que os jovens tem ideias e criatividade através da mídia criando   produtos informativos de alcance e melhoria na sociedade. Quando as pessoas da comunidade veem o jornal e panfletos informativos, passam a nos perguntar na rua e na escola se estamos fazendo isso em nosso bairro? se aprendemos isso em nosso bairro? e quando respondemos que sim. Elas querem fazer parte de tudo que estamos fazendo. Um pai de aluno quando assistiu  nossa edição e filmagem que mostra o bairro que vivemos. Ele nos perguntou se era realmente o lugar que vivemos? Pois a imagem estava muito bonita e quis saber como editamos as imagens com as gravuras? Foi muito legal. Ele passou a observar melhor cada canto da comunidade para saber se ali, tem algum tema de nosso trabalho. Acredito que com nosso projeto Sepetiba Em Foco na comunidade e instituição junto com O PROGRAMA AYV, muita coisa mudou de bom para os participantes e moradores.Eu continuo com meus amigos atento as novidade e boas transformações que podemos ter no mundo.

English Translation: 

I am Gustavo Mallet, I am 13 years old, as and a youth participant of the program Adobe Youth Voices I achieved improvement by discovering new types of media. I have always enjoyed video editing, I just didn’t know how to use the softwares and equipments that I had the opportunity to have access to, with my family’s resources, who were able to afford a computer and access to internet for me. With AYV being integrated to the workshops in the organization I was able to combine my previous knowledge with constructive action. I created, along with my group, posters and we developed campaigns about various issues that affect our community, for example STDs and teenage pregnancy. Where I live there’s high rates of pregnancy and HIV contamination among teenagers age 12 to 14, as we were informed by the local clinics in our community during research phase.

I participated of the televised news project, where I had the opportunity to play the scene director and screenwriter. After this learning experience I brought our televised news video to my school and I screened it for other youth and professors. I was able to make new friends and participate in the creation of an interesting product which we spread around the community where I live as means to show people that youth have creative ideas that they can express through media, creating informative and relatable products for the society. When people in our community see the posters and the educational flyers they ask us if we created them in our neighbourhood? If we are doing it in our own neighbourhood? If we learned how to do it in our neighbourhood? And when we say yes they say they want to be part of what we are doing.

A parent, after seeing our video, asked us if that was actually recorded in our neighbourhood, because the images were really looking good, and he wanted to know who we edited the video to merge them with pictures. It was really cool. He now observes things in our community he thinks are worth sharing so that we might consider as a theme for our next project. I believe that our project Sepetiba em Foco and in our institution, as well as the Adobe Youth Voices program, many things have changed for the people involved and for the community. My friends and I are still paying attention to the opportunities we have to create change in the world.
