Un-compromised

By Henry Ekwuruke

Originally published

I love linking cultures

A bit of royal cultures on the edge

Reuniting these lovers of our heritage

Hurt by my misplaced priorities

Hotter than my reactions are my opportunities

Events that have overpowered my emotions

Couldn't invent nothing with visions of reality

Low in graves but difficult to commend

Watch my back and inspire actions

Tell me some truths, just be kind to truth

Rekindle my ambitious nature

As I seek love abroad

My heart cannot afford father's breathe

I am lost in those reality of visions

Pictures from the heavens harass my people's events

Never a day passed in isolation but one

God loved the outsiders at large, even we

When I laughed with my many faces

The royal cultures envelope my fragile heart

And grace multiplied to evolve my case

I was seen dying a happy person

My personality with the living gods crushed

Personified and crucified with hopeless breathe

Inside the deep waters of imagination and cross

My life was never compromised

Only a little...

Because it never had reasons to adjust

Trials came and victories smiled with faith.
