Peace comes,
not through the barrel of a gun,
not through the use of power,
not by an act of governance,
but, being a matter of the heart,
a matter of the mind,
it comes and stays
where life is easy,
where thoughts are freely expressed,
where nothing hangs like a cloud,
where weapons are not used to set quarrels,
where there is love for all
and hope and joys too.
