Art. Perspective. Possibility.
As part of Alberta’s Project of Heart, students from across the province are invited to share their writings and artwork that depict their understanding of the people of Alberta’s journey towards reconciliation. The celebration is open to grades 1 to 12. Participants may submit works of art, poetry, film, video or writings in this celebration.
On May 24th, students will be connecting globally through video conference technology for a LIVE conversation on how we can continue our journey towards reconciliation.
The top art pieces from each category (K-2, 3-6, 7-9, & 10-12) will be added to Alberta’s Project of Heart as well as being specially featured on the TakingITGlobal Global Gallergy. Student artwork and essays can be submitted up until May 30th.
All submissions will be evaluated according to the Official Celebration Rules and Rubric
