Some people are born into affluence and some are born into poverty, but all lives hold equal value because each person has the potential to create positive change. Whether we realize it or not, our lives are interconnected with others. Therefore, ensuring that an individual is able to live a dignified life with access to education, healthcare, income and security, benefits humanity as a whole. This is why our dignity is interdependent on the dignity of others.
