Tara, when you're at the main page (the same page you're viewing this comment), at the top of the viewing gallery you will see a link that says "Cast Your Vote." Clicking that will bring you right back here but with clickable checkboxes now visible next to all submissions. You can choose whichever submission you think is best, then scroll to the bottom and click the "Cast Vote" button. That's it! Hope that helps {:(|)

Hi Nicola - I've fixed that for you. There was actually an odd issue with your username containing 'ico' (icon file extension) that was causing an issue with your Global Gallery profile - which prevented you from viewing it. That's been fixed now.

Fabrice - you're right, there was an issue on one of our read-only secondary database servers a few hours ago - that's been fixed and didn't affect votes.

Great website Fleur, thanks heaps! There are also a lot of home remedies out there as a cheaper, student-friendly option to avoiding palm oil products. The book "A Slice of Organic Life" has some excellent DIY ideas, from bathing lotions to environmentally friendly pest control to excellent ideas for recyclables. Inspiring! Promise! Hey everyone, I just want to add on to what danielle said about the Tiger Temple. Unfortunately there are many places, tourist/holiday based, that support the illegal wildlife trade, animal cruelty etc.
One of the most popular activities to do in Asia, especially with Australians, is to ride elephants. But the training process these elephants go through is hardly known as many governments keep it hush-hush. Young elephants, often taken out of the wild, are taken from their mother and undergo cruel treatment with the aim to break its spirit into submission. This includes starving, whipping, isolation and much more. My colleague has volunteered for an elephant park in Thailand where they don't use this method and are trying to spread the word on it. As tourists in other countries, we have to be super careful with what we spend our money on!
