Thanks Tom, I will definately get in touch with your Mum! My kids were so sad to think that by the time they are old enough to travel..all the forests and the orangutans in Borneo could be gone! One of my kids wrote in her journal.. "hang in there forests.. were coming to save you!!" they care so much, it's beautiful! I want to help protect it for them, so when they grow up they can live in a clean, safe world and go see the beauty which is our earth and the amazing species that exist within it, living peacefully in their natural habitats! Thank goodness for DeforestACTION and all the amazing people working to reach and bring awareness to the next generation.. to build a culture of action and care! It's all about connecting as one to make a difference:)

Hey Bec, I'm sure Mum would love to hear from you (she's actually out in Ethiopia for the next few weeks, closing the adoption of my new 12 year old sister Meserati! I come from a crazy, but lovely family). A big question that has come up in radio interviews I've had about DeforestAction is "Do you think conservation is taught enough in schools", and although it has been getting better, it's one of the most important things to do, because its their world. We're just looking after it for them (except we're not doing a very good job of it so far, ey?), just as they'll do for their kids.

It's just so frustrating and upsetting that they have to expect the worst. We just have to make sure that doesn't happen!

Your video is great, for a first time ever, it is really good ! You should keep going, do a video with the kids. In that case, I would be happy to give you couples of tips!

Ha,ha..I know Josh, I will never forget you!!! And I miss you too Olivia, actually I miss all the Lunney's and Watson's I taught! Thanks for ur support guys! I hope you are enjoying school! Did you see Monty (our adopted turtle) in the clip? My current class have been reading the diary you all wrote about him when u took him home! And Abbey and Georgia's Svalbards Diary we did too. They love it! We have adopted an orangutan now, and my class will be taking him home next term..his name is Blanky. U can support the orangutans through this website too..plus buy back land and stop deforestation! Wish I could come visit Mater Dei soon!!
