Adeshola Komolafe

Adeshola Komolafe is the founder and the Nigerian Country Director of Save our Future. She is also the Chief Executive Officer of Media Insight an Integrated Marketing Communications firm. Previously, she was a Marketing & Promotion Consultant to the Partnership for Transforming Health Systems Phase II (PATHS2) a 6-year national programme funded by the UK’sDepartment for International Development (DFiD) and currently a Media Monitoring consultant to PATHS2. She is on the advisory board of Crescent Group, IPSNG Consulting and 212 Chicken Barbecue.

She was the Director of Communication for Team Ribadu and in a similar capacity served as a Communications Consultant to Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, the Presidential Candidate for theAction Congress of Nigeria during the 2011 presidential election. She also worked with the Media and Marketing Communications Company where she rose to the position of Manager, Media Intelligence and Ag. Head of Operations before she resigned.

Adeshola is the author of the book Save our Future. She has written several articles, including Women and Political Marginalisation, Fast-Tracking Vision 2020 Policy, The Imperative of National Health Bill amongst several others. She received a BSc. from Bayero University Kano and a Masters degree from the same institution. She also studied Integrated Marketing Communications at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and Pan African University. She is currently an overseas YES mentor for Envision Hong Kong and a member of the World Bank Youth Forum. In 2007, Adeshola was nominated for the prestigious UPF/YFWP International Youth Ambassador for Peace Award by the World Youth Federation for World Peace
