After spending most of my life in retail management and using art to destress, I recently decided that money, control and career progression was becoming secondary to ny love of painting. I decided to leave it behind and follow that love, which as a single parent of two young children was a massive decision. It may be a cliche but now that I have hardly any money, I feel richer than ever, doing what I love.
