David Martin

23 years old with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology (2004), Southwest Missouri State University. Hobbies include hunting, fishing, photography, playing any musical instrument I can get my hands on, and playing poker. I also run two websites in my free time: www.dailyeconews.com - which is dedicated to providing interesting environmental news, and www.missouri-fishing.com - which is an online community for fisherman across the state to post fishing reports, photos, and have general discussion with one another.

Although my degree is in Wildlife Biology and I originally intended to do research as a wildlife professional, my interests are swaying towards the socio-economic dimensions of our environmental issues. I still think basic scientific research is important, however research alone will not solve the problems we face. Direct action is the key.

Other interests include recycling, wind/solar energy, sustainable/environmental planning.
