I am an educator living and working in "small town" America. I am fascinated by different cultures around the globe and how technology can help us to learn more about one another and work together on projects and issues that we have in common. I'm of the opinion that we still have much work to do in order to use technology to its fullest potential to help facilitate learning in many of our classrooms.

I've had the opportunity to work in urban, suburban, and rural public schools in Michigan. I learned from students in each environment. I believe in life-long learning and that no matter where we live, we all have some similar basic physical, emotional, and cognitive needs.

I enjoy music, nature, and travel.
