Victor Gama

Pursuing his career in music he started the Pangeia Instrumentos project in 1993. The Pangeia Instrumentos are acoustic musical instruments, sound devices and installations designed and built as a process of experimentation with form, design, sound and music. Gama experiments with the phenomenon of metamorphosis of instruments and musical objects from pre-historical times to our days. This phenomenon suggests that form is a variable in the composition process and is intrinsically related to the player’s inner creative impulses and his closest material environment.
