Julian Andres Carvajal

Julian Andres Carvajal is originally from Santiago de Cali, Colombia, began as a militant activist Procrear Foundation, Costransgénero, UNAIDS, ASICAL, ACECS, LigaSida, among others. He has worked with homeless people, vulnerable women, people consuming psychoactive substances, sexual workers, and transgender population.

He studied arts for eight years at Juvenilia, took drama courses at the Institute of Popular Culture (IPC), studied Social Communication at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia. In Canada graduated as Event and Media Producer at Seneca College.

Since August 2010, Julian has been involved in different projects of the Las Perlas del Mar where he is currently the producer of Las Perlas del Mar Productions INC., and the workshops Coordinator of EMA -School of Alternative Media of Las Perlas del Mar. In 2014 did his first Solo Documentary "Uniterra Peru 2009 -2014" carried out by the Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development Canada.
