Art. Perspective. Possibility.
I am an instructor at the Civil Engineering Department of University of the Philippines Diliman. I believe that someday I'll be able to spur economic growth in the remote regions in my country by planning an effective transportation system.
Working for a student council in our university and organizing various events with limited funds have trained me to think of innovative solutions to every problem. I am currently fascinated with appropriate technologies that have immensely changed the lives of people in third world countries.
I try to continually search for knowledge as I think that I could effectively face a problem only if I fully understand it. By reading relevant materials, enrolling in interesting courses and attending seminars, I have learned about the disturbing problems that our society is facing today. I usually get frustrated by these problems but as I am an idealistic person, I know that I'll be able to help change the world.
I am also an adventure seeker. I love to explore new places. Nature, especially beaches, mountains and sunsets never fail to amuse me.
Learning new sports is also one of my passions. I am into judo, taekwondo, yoga and swimming. I hope to learn how to do wushu stunts, do gymnastic flips and scuba dive.
In a nutshell, I am a student, a dreamer, an innovative thinker and an adventurer who hopes to effect a change in this world.
