Fang Xiang

Was born in Shantou, 1967. Graduated from the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting of the Guangzhou Institute of Fine Arts in 1988. Appointed to Guangdong Fine Arts Academy as one of 16 permanent artists-in–residence since 1995. Member of Chinese Artist Association; Member of the Council of Guangdong Artist Association.

1995 “A Rural New Year Celebration” won the Bronze Medal for Guangdong Province at the 8th National Chinese Fine Arts Competition
