What Does Well-Being Look Like to You?

The term well-being is defined as the state of being comfortable, healthy, and happy. The state of well-being includes many positive things - such as being healthy, sense of belonging, feeling happy and purposeful, a safe physical space (such as your home), a fulfilling career, and many other factors that are interrelated. In short, well-being is the experience of health, happiness, and prosperity.

We invite your imagination, voice and perspective on depicting visual representations on the theme of well-being -- what does well-being mean and look like to you. For you, does well-being include:

Positive relationships and feeling connected with your family and friends?

Feel strong physically and mentally?

Feeling connected to nature, the environment and what you eat?

Being active while learning something new?

Having space to express yourself creatively?

Being connected to your language and identity?

Having a sense of hope for the future?

We understand that it can mean many things and we invite you to be part of our online collection and exhibit. Our plan is to showcase images submitted as part of international conferences and gatherings with the aim of inspiring decision-makers and community leaders. With that in mind, please include a short description with the image or video that you submit to provide additional context on the meaning of what you create.

To support young people with this contest, the TIG team will be facilitating two brainstorming sessions on April 15th, Wednesday, from 5 pm - 6 pm ET and April 16th, Thursday, from 11 am ET - 12 pm ET.
