Hello! Do you know the exact dates for this project? It looks so incredible, but I still have University finals at the start of June!

Hey Fran. It takes a little while to go up. Even once the upload process is finished you have to wait a a couple hours. Tom the winners are chosen in march and I think I read somewhere filming starts in june/July... I think :)

Actually, above it says shooting will start in june

Should we be worried if our video takes longer than the anticipated 48 hours to go up?

I can't get my you tube video to appear under the Results either...It's been only about 12hrs now..should I keep waiting a little longer?? :) Thanks

All good - I sorted it out, it just appeared. Do we not have to fill in our personal contact details anywhere?? :)

We've just approved the latest batch of videos - so everyone who submitted should now see their videos posted... great work!
If you're having problems uploading your video, e-mail us at deforestaction (at) takingitglobal.org with your YouTube link and your TIG Username!

In terms of voting, we will be considering a number of things as we look to select participants: views of your video, ratings of your video, and votes on your video, as well as any participation you have on DeforestAction.org (referring friends, sponsoring land) and the activity on your TIG profile.

Does anyone know how to enable comments for your video?? :)

Hi there - on the right side of your submission, you should see an "Edit Submission" link. From there, you can enable commenting (it was an option during submission) :)

oh goodness, I'm really trying here but just can't see any button that says "Edit Submission" :( I've just clicked the above thumbnail to my video, but just can't see it anywhere??!

yeah i cant fond any edit button either

Hi there - sorry about that, it was an issue related to contest submissions not being editable by default. We've changed that and you can now edit away. Fleur, I've tested it by logging into your account and editing your submission to enable comments, so I'm 100% sure it works now.

To tell us more about yourselves, I'd suggest that more of your fill in your TakingITGlobal profiles and Global Gallery Portfolio's too (if you have photos you've taken from trips or environmental work, you can post these in the gallery) - I noticed that a few of you have already done a great job of this!

oh i figured it out Mickytort!!! So you go to your portfolio (" My Portfolio") at top of this page..so scroll back up, once in there scroll down to where is says "Recent Posts" and click on your video thumbnail..once in there look to right and there should be "edit submission" then ensure "enable comments" box is ticked! YAY!!! :) Fleur

I wish that this was an easier site to navigate. I am trying to vote and haven't managed it so far.

oops ok I'm confused again..think I've been telling my friends the wrong way to vote - if you click on the stars to rate the video..is that counted as voting??? thanks :) Fleur

Hi guys - how do we post our video up? I am having so much trouble. I got it up on youtube "Plight of the orang-utan" but I cannot import it from youtube to this website!!! HELP!

Hi Nattymac, if you put it up recently it might not be entirely on youtube. It's easy to tell if this is the case if you search the exact title of your video on youtube if it doesn't come up because that means they are still getting all of the information up.
This happened to me and I had to wait over 8 hours for my video to be up entirely so this might be the case and you just need to wait a little longer.

How did you guys found out about the Borneo 3D project? tv? web? radio?
