Hi, how long does it take to have my video available in the contest entries list?

Hey, I submitted mine yesterday morning and it was up this morning! You get an email from TIG saying it's been accepted and 'ta-dah!', it's up!

Every time I click the link to vote I end up on some dead end page. What's the deal?

Hi Chookie - we've fixed the voting link. There was a problem with the Facebook Like button which has now been fixed!

Hi Guys, I know this may be the wrong place to ask but how do I get the video up? Its on youtube and I have tried uploading that way and using the two other options of native browser and flash etc. Thanks

After uploading to YouTube, have you clicked 'Import from YouTube' at the top of the Submit page? http://gg.tigweb.org/submit.html?toSet=2055

You first need to link your TIG Account with your YouTube account, and then you can select your video. If you're having problems with this, you can e-mail us at deforestaction (at) takingitglobal.org - but hopefully this helps!

Thats what I have done but then after it links it says "please select your movie from youtube (or something like that) and there is nothing there to select.

I have the same problem with submitting...

My entry has been submitted but I am unable to watch the video from this site when I click on my picture, how do I make my video viewable directly from this page?

I have submitted my video but i dont show up in the contestants page above!!

it can take up to 48 hours for them to approve your submission, the same thing happened to me you just have to wait a little while. good luck!

im not sure if mine uploaded correctlt or not. i clicked submit but nothing really happen. ill wait the 48 hours to see if anything changes though, hopefully it'll be fine.

Has anyone else had the problem where your thumbnail picture only leads to a picture but not your video?

I don't suppose anyone knows when the winners will be announced/when they're actually going over to Borneo?

the trip starts in june. and the winners are announced around sometime around march 15th i would assume.

hoping there is another prcoess and that we all make the shortlist :P
i really dont think i said everything i needed to/ wanted to on my video...staying positive...hopefully they will want us to fill out a questionnaire or sumthing haha

i uploaded to youtube and its also connected to my facebook but not hear maby i didnt get accepted ?

I was wondering if there was a way of knowing whether your video was received. It just said submitted when I sent it and I'm not sure if it was received but I sent it two days ago, thanks!

Hi Mitch - sometimes YouTube can take several hours to make the videos available to our system to post. Can you e-mail me your video link
