Mirror Head

This was an art project for my advanced art class. It is supposed to both represent myself and everyone else. For a long time, I thought too much of what others thought of ME, and so all I did was reflect their thoughts (leaving me w/out a unique self). By doing that, I was "serving myself up on a platter", I was putting aside myself for other people, which is very wrong. I tried to get that across in this piece. The shattered glass represents the pain that goes along with such "doormattedness".
