Wat Chaiwatthanaram (Mini Angor Wat)

Wat Chaiwatthanaram (Mini Angor Wat)

This large Wat (Thai Temple Complex) is a perfect example of Khmer influence on Thai Architecture. Many visitors have claimed to notice the glaring similarities between Cambodia's majestic Angor Wat and this complex. King Prassatthong build this complex in 1630 AD possibly to commemorate a victory over Cambodia.
