The affects of drug addiction are seen daily in Barrio Solidaridad. It is an underserved neighborhood on the outskirts of Salta (Argentina). The most common drug among young people is called pacu. It is basically the leftover solvents from processing crack cocaine and is highly addictive and very destructive. Long term users suffer permanent brain damage and are very likely to commit acts of violence against their community.
