I know it is passe to do a piece of another artist's. Salvidor Dali is one of my favorite artsists and I have never tried to do a rendering of a painting before. This piece took about 3 weeks to finish and I have not tried to do another. It does look different in pencil without the color. Dali had an incredible eye for color as well as content and detail.
