La Virgen de Guadalupe

Painted on a city wall, La Virgen de Guadalupe, feeds her infant. She is weeping for a homeless woman and her child who are sitting on the street. So great is her compassion, that the tears that fall from her eyes feed a seed that lies sleeping in the ground beneath the asphalt. A Rose breaks through a crack in the cement giving birth to new hope.
