Waiting

Waiting

Telephones have an intrinsic energy to them, assigned by us, since they are no more than plastic devices, but are essential to distant communication. There are implicit emotions involved in just seeing the object- anxiousness, excitement, dread, fear, anger, resentment- all aimed at the message, not the messenger. Yet the plastic messenger becomes a symbol for our emotions- a static panic button waiting to be pushed.

Wow!!! Awesome image. I love the colors, and the perspective is great! Interesting how you can make a telephone look so cool! LOL :)
