Fire Escape

I love Canada’s cities for the bustle and diversity that comes along with so many people in a small area, but also for the physical structures and the interesting architecture. The first time I visited Montreal, I remember taking note of the curly staircases of exterior fire escapes, an architectural style that isn’t common in Toronto. Distinct old buildings remind me of the history of a city and the layers of culture and customs that build up over time.
