Youth Unemployment Crisis

Unemployment is a crisis facing many a youth in many countries today. In Mutomo District, Kitui County in Eastern Kenya, unemployment has seen many youth indulge in a lot of unproductive activities. One of these activities is drug abuse. This photo shows Miraa (khat ), a local sedative drug that many idle youth spend time chewing. The drug has health related effects like insomnia, stomach ulcers and low libido.
