Tent Poles

The many poles of the teepee must work together to create a strong structure. I feel the same way about Canada. If we support each other, our home will be strong. If we do not, then we will not have much of a home.
The photo was taken near Fort Providence, Northwest Territories in the spring of 2010. The traditional tent had been erected to be used by youth while learning their traditions. The photo was taken with a basic point-and-shoot camera.
