Detail for Tempest1

This is a detail from the tempest series. One of the doors that is opened from the sky. I'm extremely interested in the meteorological analogies for emotions. The tempest series came to me when I was reflecting on my immigration experience. The hardship that I experienced, but also the tumultuous time my parents endured. However, in all of my memories that is a source of light, sometimes inexplicable and other times more clear. Someone in the the face of storms and hardship I was able to keep my sunlight.
