Peering into the Blue

Living in Alberta, the Canadian Rockies are a huge part of peoples lives. This blue pristine water of Emerald Lake is in stark contrast to the environmental damage which is being caused in Northern Alberta by the oilsands. This water symbolizes everything we stand to lose if we do not respect our environment. If we continue to disrespect our environment, pictures like this may be the closest thing people in the future will have of clean water.
