Due to climate change,Mutomo District in Eastern Kenya is faced with minimal rainfall hence severe water shortages.Residents have therefore resorted to rainwater harvesting techniques to beat these climate change effects.This is a rock catchment which is constructed on rocks to harvest rainwater

You are right Suenoni.This is an area that receives 300-800mm of rainfall annually and so residents have had to come up with new innovations for survival
