David and Goliath

David and Goliath

David and Goliath represents the essence of the Palestinian resistence. The watercolor is done in a slight realism, where the darker strokes are emphasized. The entire painting is black and white except for the rocks, which are done in the color of the Palestinian Flag. The message is that the resistance and the future of Palestine lies in the heart and the struggle. Alternatively, the message may convey that we cannot put our future, the future of our country, our flag, in the hope of a few rocks.
