Ecological Restoration

This is the TREAT community nursery (TRees for the Evelyn & Atherton Tableands) where they have pioneered the practice of creating 'Wildlife Corridors'. Which is growing seedlings for the revegetation of linkages between intact forest to restore connectivity and gene flow across the landscape. This is especially important for the rare Lumholtz Tree Kangaroo that is only found in far-north Queensland.
