Hugh, sorry for the brief delay in my reply bud. His name is Joel Capolongo and he went in 2005 on the voyage from Melbourne to Antarctica. His was the journey that was documented by a NatGeo writer and turned into the "Whale Warriors" book. He's a great guy - owns and runs a phenomenal vegan restaurant if you're ever in New York!
