Palm Oil Fruit

Palm oil harvested and ready to take to local mill for sale. Palm oil is a difficult problem. everyone in the village had their own small plot they would harvest and sell to supplement their income. a world wide boycott of palm oil is not the answer. palm oil is kind of a necessary evil. if it was gone tomorrow then by the end of the week something else would replace it and all other alternative crops would require 3 times as much deforesting to produce the same yield. but by creating awareness of the problems and putting pressure on the multinational companies involved to use better practices. like creating Wild life corridors to link up the remaining areas of Forrest. and increase genetic diversity for species living in SE Asia
