The exisistence of this spps of vultures is facing serious environmental threats in Asia.
The banned .pain killer drugs like Diclofenac...etc. given before the death of cattles is the main cause .The studies have revealed that there is 70% decline in population.

The vulture was photographed at Rohtang Pass (13000 Ft ) western Himalayan region , in Sept. 2006. A rare oppurtunity to get this Bird at high altitudes nowdays
