This picture shows milans battle with poverty and how many-a-time he has been forced to eat out of the dumpsters to survive. Along with his friend Mark they go Dumpster-Diving twice a week to forage for food, today they have been lucky and found a giant tin of Haggis. Bon Appetit!

it is a pity that some of us have to do or to live lives that are hampered but it is also very interesting that life remains beautiful and we still desire to live and even think about heavens, just because we want to live. i have seen street kids in some towns in kenya and sometimes i felt like cursing! but whom to curse? to some extend it seems that human beings create hell for others on this world and this is what makes me as a person frustrated at times. but i am just wondering, did you just take the picture of the boys or you did something atleast to alleviate their sort of accepted misery?
i felt that theirs was a story that needed sharing, and as such asked them if they minded me documenting a day in their lives to help spread the word about urban poverty.
at the end of the day i took them both out to dinner for a nice hot dinner which the both thoroughly enjoyed.
