I consider myself an abstract expressionist. I really don't have anything in mind when I look at a blank canvas. I just start to paint and listen to the canvas. It tells me where to put a color, what kind of color or shape and how much. I think thats how people work. If you are quiet enough and you listen to yourself you can give yourself what it desires, wheter it be your soul or just feeding your stomache.
