I Would Like Organic Food, But Why Pay Organic Prices?

Students are normally on low budgets, and food is somewhere down in the priority list for most, so as much as we may want to eat good, healthy, organic food... we can't afford it! Are these prices always fair? Are companies taking advantage of their 'uniqueness' to overprice?
