Coconut Grove Playhouse, Miami (now defunct)

This digital photo was taken on my trip to Coconut Grove in Miami. I am not a tourist here, in my hometown, but after being away from it for so long, there was a candor and nostalgia for it that I never knew I had. The pic was caught while walking, thus the distorted image of this beautiful, colorful building, the Coconut Grove Playhouse. Sadly, I had just learned that it was closed down--like so many other buildings in Miami--because of the dwindling economy.
