I have adopted Capivaras as mascot for the city of São Paulo.

As The Hippopotamus Egyptian goddess Tauret represents pregnancy and fertility, Capivara is the São Paulo Goddess of prosperity and ecology, they symbolize the chaos of urban life. Every time they arise from Pinheiros River margins to stop the traffic of one of the busiest avenues (Marginal Pinheiros), we realize that it is time to reevaluate ecology. São Paulo is grey and ecology was abandoned.
Capivaras wants to take back the river that was their habitat in the past.
