I used to read this book when I was young. I loved stories about bunnies and bears :)
This one is about how Peter Rabbit sneaks into Mr. McGregor's garden to eat vegetables and gets chased and threatened until Peter returns home safely (without his clothes!)
I think this image relates to the part in the story where "PETER sat down to rest; he was out of breath and trembling with fright, and he had not the least idea which way to go. Also he was very
damp with sitting in that can....PETER never stopped running or looked behind him till he got home to the big fir-tree... HE was so tired that he
flopped down upon the nice soft sand on the floor of the rabbit-hole, and shut his eyes."

that was one of my childhood stories/memories, TOO.
In Zimbabwe we have alot of folk stroies about rabbits... rabbit is always shown as the cunning, tricky and often smart character. Unlike his best friend Baboon who is moronic, and causes blunders in all the things they do.
