Heritage Courtyard- Jaigarh, Rajasthan.

The picture shows the courtyard where the bravest of soldiers of the kingdom assembled. The huge fort of Jaigarh was buit only to house the army of the king. The fort houses the largest canon ever built, Jaivan, and fired just once. The planning of the fort is awesome in sense that it was designed over 1000 years ago. Rajasthan is an arid region with low rainfall. The rainwater collected was stored to address the water needs of a 100,000 strong army, throughout the year.
