On the Banks of River Sharavathi, Western Ghats...

The photograph is a glimpse of the Mystic and Mysterious Western Ghats, India. This one is taken along the banks of River Sharavathi in Karnataka State, India, where the river flows westwards to join the Arabian Sea. An effort is made to capture the pristine and serene environment, through the Sony digital camera. The original size of the work is 1280 x 960 pixels. This is one of the few places still prisitne although threatened very much by "eco-tourism" initiatives.
