The Activist

I created this mask and used it as part of a performance that I did entitled 'The Power to Create, The Power to Destroy'.

Here is a description of the performance:

This performance explores the relationship between nature,

technology and culture. It involves elements of group

interactivity and multimedia combined with movement,

rhythm and striking images. The objective is to invoke

a sense of awareness and consciousness around how

nature and technology have the power to

both create and destroy.

I see 'The Activist' as a symbol of hope and struggle.
