If we could employ the trick employed by the Luo fishing community where nothing goes to waste and everything can be reused for another thing as they do to the fish byproducts from the fish processing companies to the environment, then I believe we could have solved the environmental menace from wastes by recycling, reusing, or reducing them.

The Buddhist temple where I lived for a couple of years with my daughter did not believe in waste. The nuns would take turns eating whatever others left on their plates. Of coarse the others did not know that it was part of the philosophy to not waste anything and that someone, be they hungry or not, would have to eat their remnants. Whatever you put on your plate you are required to consume in the. Only in America is there such an incredible amount of waste and insensitivity to the needs of the rest of the world. Those of us who see what is happening will make all the difference in changing the hearts of those who don\'t know what sadness really is.
