There are sevral things I miss about living on the beach in Madagascar. One of the things I miss most is watching the sun set over the water and seeing the sky appear to catch on fire. The perfect way to end any day.

This expression does most definately has an imapct on me. Every time I look at this photo it takes me back to my life on the beach. I remember feeling very happy and relaxed. I had no stress, no worries and I can remember thinking that this is what life is really about. Having enough to eat, a place to sleep, a roof over my head and not wanting for more. Most of all enjoying every moment of life from sunrise to sunset and sunset to sunrise. The 3 short month I spent in Madagascar made me realize that I should work to live, not live to work.

Candace,
It is always nice to see other people say WOW when looking at one of Madagascar's pics. I do say WOW also and things like this made me feel blue....I miss a lot my country. Lucky you had a chance to discover my country and thank you for sharing your experience to others. Madagascar is not a very known country. I do say also to others how great Canada is. Here there is democracy, humanity, tolerance, and we are living in a comfortable cultural diversity. Sometimes, travelling help us to understand that everyone, every country have their own treasures. Thus, I am not considering "thirld world country" as those which are "poor".
