This a view of the sea from the top of a sand dune in the tiny fishing village of Anakao Madagascar after a cyclone hit Morombe just 60 kms north. Eleven Anakao fishermen lost thier lives. The beach was aprtially washed away and trees were ripped from their roots. The roofes got torn away from many many huts. It was an amazing sight to see. But even more amazing was how all te people pulled together to help each other pull through, clean up and return to life.
