Hiking in the Spiny Forest

From the lagoon off of Anakao you can clearly see a mountian ridge. One day we decided to make the 4 hour hike from Anakao through the Forest to the ridge. It was pretty cool to hike through a part of Madagascars arid environment but we had to tread lightly to avoid being scratched too much by some of the low lying catus type plants.
